² O Yahweh, ^(A)be gracious to us; we have ^(B)hoped in You.
Be ^[a]their ^[b](C)strength every morning,
Our salvation also in the ^(D)time of distress.
³ At the sound of the tumult ^(E)peoples flee;
At the ^(F)lifting up of Yourself nations scatter.
⁴ Your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathers;
As locusts rushing about men rush about on it.
